The Labrador Winter Games consists of fourteen events. The events test many of the traditional skills Labradorians have relied on for centuries and combine them with some more modern day events. Mental toughness, athletic ability and precision accuracy make the difference.

There are seven mandatory and seven optional events for athletes to compete in. Teams competing for the Labrador Cup must compete in all seven mandatory events, and at least four of the optional events.
